Terms of Use for Orrin

1. About Orrin

Orrin is a personal finance and budget tracking application that helps users manage income, expenses, budgets, accounts, financial goals, debts, loans, and related information.

Orrin may include features such as analytics, reminders, shared workspaces, subscriptions, AI-powered insights, data export, and synchronization across devices.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Orrin.

If the laws of your country require a higher minimum age to use online services or consent to data processing, you may use Orrin only if you meet that requirement or have valid consent from a parent or legal guardian.

Orrin is not intended for children under 13.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of Orrin, you may need to create an account or use an anonymous account.

You may sign in using supported login methods, including:

• email and password;
• Google Sign-In;
• Apple Sign-In;
• anonymous login.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must provide accurate information and keep your account information up to date.

4. User Data and Financial Records

You are responsible for the information you enter into Orrin, including income, expenses, notes, accounts, goals, debts, loans, and other financial records.

You represent that you have the right to enter, upload, store, process, and share any content or information that you add to Orrin.

You retain ownership of your user content and financial records. However, you grant us a limited license to process, store, transmit, display, and use that content only as necessary to provide and improve Orrin, operate the App, provide AI-powered features if used by you, sync your data, provide shared workspace functionality, and comply with legal obligations.

5. Shared Workspaces and Invited Users

Orrin may allow you to create shared workspaces and invite other users.

If you invite another user to a workspace, that user may be able to view, add, edit, or manage data in that workspace depending on the permissions you grant.

You are responsible for:

• choosing who you invite;
• setting appropriate access permissions;
• ensuring that you have the right to share the information in the workspace;
• the consequences of sharing financial information with other users.

We are not responsible for actions taken by users you invite to your shared workspace.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use Orrin for illegal, harmful, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized purposes;
• attempt to hack, reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or damage Orrin or its infrastructure;
• use bots, scripts, scraping, automated abuse, or aggressive API usage;
• attempt to bypass subscription, payment, access, security, or rate-limit systems;
• upload malicious code, harmful content, or content that violates the rights of others;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity;
• harass, threaten, insult, abuse, or harm other users;
• interfere with other users’ access to Orrin;
• use Orrin in a way that violates applicable laws or these Terms.

7. Account Suspension or Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account if we reasonably believe that:

• you violated these Terms;
• you attempted to hack, abuse, overload, or misuse Orrin or its API;
• you engaged in fraudulent or harmful activity;
• you created security, legal, or operational risks;
• you abused shared workspace functionality;
• your use of Orrin may harm us, other users, or third-party services.

We may also suspend or discontinue parts of Orrin at any time for technical, legal, business, or security reasons.

8. Paid Features, Subscriptions, and Trials

Orrin may offer paid features, including:

• monthly subscriptions;
• annual subscriptions;
• lifetime purchases;
• consumable purchases;
• free trials.

Paid features may vary by country, platform, device, app version, or promotional offer.

Subscriptions may automatically renew unless canceled before the end of the current billing period.

Free trials may convert into paid subscriptions unless canceled before the trial ends.

All purchases, subscriptions, free trials, billing, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on the platform you use.

We do not directly process payment card information.

9. Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play according to their own refund policies.

We cannot guarantee refunds and do not directly control Apple’s or Google’s refund decisions.

If you want to request a refund, you should do so through the platform where you made the purchase.

10. Account Deletion

You may delete your account in the App where this feature is available.

You may also request account and data deletion using our Account Deletion Policy resource.

When your account is deleted, we will delete your account and associated user data, subject to backup retention of up to 30 days and any legally required or permitted retention.

Deleting your Orrin account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. You must cancel your subscription through Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings.

11. AI Features

Orrin may include AI-powered features that provide analysis, summaries, explanations, insights, or suggestions based on your financial data or other information you provide.

AI-generated information may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for your personal situation.

You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated outputs before relying on them.

You should not treat AI-generated outputs as professional financial, investment, legal, tax, accounting, or other professional advice.

12. No Professional Financial Advice

Orrin is provided for personal budgeting, tracking, organization, and informational purposes only.

Orrin does not provide professional financial, investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice.

Any budgets, analytics, AI insights, calculations, charts, summaries, or recommendations are for informational purposes only.

You are solely responsible for your financial decisions and should consult qualified professionals where appropriate.

13. Accuracy of Data and Calculations

We try to provide useful and reliable features, but Orrin may contain errors, bugs, delays, sync issues, incorrect calculations, data loss, or inaccurate analytics.

You are responsible for verifying important financial information before making decisions based on it.

We are not responsible for losses or damages resulting from inaccurate data, incorrect calculations, missed reminders, sync errors, AI-generated outputs, or decisions you make based on Orrin.

14. Data Backup and Export

Orrin may provide data synchronization, backup, and export features.

However, we do not guarantee that your data will always be available, complete, recoverable, or error-free.

You are responsible for keeping your own backup of important information where necessary.

15. Intellectual Property

Orrin, including its design, software, features, branding, interface, graphics, text, technology, and other materials, is owned by Individual Entrepreneur Chernysh or licensed to us.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Orrin for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, or create derivative works based on Orrin, except where allowed by applicable law.

16. User Content

You retain rights to the content and financial data you add to Orrin.

You are solely responsible for your user content and for ensuring that it does not violate applicable laws, third-party rights, or these Terms.

We do not actively moderate personal financial records or private workspace content, but we may review, restrict, remove, or disclose content where necessary for legal, security, operational, or abuse-prevention reasons.

17. Third-Party Services

Orrin may rely on third-party services, including but not limited to Apple, Google, Firebase, Google Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Supabase, Adapty, Firebase Cloud Messaging, and AI service providers.

Your use of Orrin may also be subject to the terms and privacy policies of those third-party services.

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, security, or practices of third-party services.

18. App Stores

If you download Orrin from Apple App Store or Google Play, you also agree to comply with the applicable platform rules, terms, and policies.

Apple and Google are not responsible for Orrin, except as required by their own terms and applicable law.

Billing, subscriptions, refunds, and purchase management are handled by the relevant app store platform.

19. Availability and Changes to Orrin

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue Orrin or any part of it at any time.

We may add, remove, or change features, pricing, subscription plans, limitations, or supported platforms.

We do not guarantee that Orrin will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

20. Disclaimer of Warranties

Orrin is provided “as is” and “as available.”

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, availability, security, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that Orrin will meet your expectations, be free from errors, or produce accurate financial insights, calculations, or AI outputs.

21. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Individual Entrepreneur Chernysh will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, financial loss, business interruption, or damages resulting from your use of or inability to use Orrin.

Our total liability for any claim related to Orrin will be limited to the amount you paid for Orrin during the 12 months before the claim, or the minimum amount permitted by applicable law if no payment was made.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some limitations may not apply to you.

22. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Individual Entrepreneur Chernysh from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:

• your use of Orrin;
• your violation of these Terms;
• your user content;
• your violation of applicable laws;
• your violation of third-party rights;
• your misuse of shared workspaces or invited user functionality.

23. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.

24. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If we make material changes, we may notify you through the App, by email, or by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of these Terms.

Your continued use of Orrin after changes become effective means that you accept the updated Terms.
